Not the friendliest service but the food is okay. If you want fast mediocre Mexican food this is the place to go. Come here all the time with my folks and my lil boy. For kids, I recommend their burger. They are delicious! I usually get a taco and enchilada with rice n beans but this time I got chicken fajitas. They were surprisingly good! I'm not impressed with their margaritas so I don't recommend doing happy hour here. Go to ninfas or superior for that..

This is our favorite Mexican food in Denham Springs! The staff... is super friendly. Immediately bring you chips and salsa. Drinks are brought to our table within 2 min. If we make any changes to the way something is cooked they are more than willing to accommodate. They are clean ...always! Quick to clear plates from our table. Refills our drinks without asking ;) Bathrooms are clean and always have paper and soap. The food ...is clean and fresh. I live the avocado salad with steak! The grilled shrimp on ANY menu item is delicious. Usually get the Chipotle Shrimp appetizer. Even their Chicken Tortilla Soup is great! The Chicken wrap burrito is really good too. Had avocado and grilled chicken. Feels like a healthier meal than your traditional burrito but still tastes awesome. The price ...is very reasonable. The seafood items are priced right. ;) We go all the time and feel is well worth every penny!

Very disappointed. The chicken enchiladas were very dry. No cheese on them nor any sauce. It was so noisy that we could not carry on a conversation in our group. I would not go back there.

Came here Wednesday for lunch with coworkers (on the company's dime, heyohhhhh!). I've been to a couple in Baton Rouge and this one previously, so I knew what I was in for. There were 6 of us and our waiter was very attentive. We came around 11:30 so it hadn't quite picked up in business yet, which was good for us! Chips and salsa are pretty good and they kept an eye on the baskets in case we needed a refill. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and I believe we all got something different. I got a taco salad and was glad that sour cream and guacamole came automatically. Prices are decent, food is generally good, and they have quick service. Good for a casual American Mexican lunch or dinner.

It's ok. Nothing special. Very clean. Great waiter but the food was average at best. Prices were average. I live close to TX so I guess that's what I'm used to more. I don't have to eat here again.

Nope. Never again. This was the worst Mexican food I've ever had. Can you say bland? No seasoning whatsoever. I got the taco, burrito, and beef enchilada plate, it didn't come with rice and beans. What? I thought this was standard. So I ate the rice and beans that came with my husbands fajitas. He said his fajitas were just ok. And the service was nonexistent. We basically had to get up and find someone to ask for everything we needed. Drink refills. Check. Someone to take the check with our credit card and bring it back. We won't be back.

We always have excellent service. I love the avocado salad with either chicken or shrimp. The cilantro dressing is really good and the greens are always nice and crispy. The fajitas were good too. My husband gets enchiladas and I've never heard him complain.

Can't say anything about the food. We were seated, given chips and salsa, and forgotten. We sat with our menus on the table (international sign for "I'm ready to order!") for about 10 min. There were staff all over the place just standing around. There were maybe 6 tables with ppl. Tried making eye contact until I was just too irritated to eat there. Left the restaurant thinking someone might try and get us to come back in.... Nope.

No Mexican atmosphere whatsoever. Food average. Nothing to get excited about. Had to ask for more chips because the first basket was mostly crumbs. Same with the second basket. Waiter could care less; he never even looked at us as he took our order.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
